We would like to take a moment to share the correct procedure for reporting chat room offenses along with information regarding reporting offenses that didn't occur.
Players that post in the global chat or in private messages to any other players, statements that can be placed in any of the following four categories:
Can and should be reported to Customer Support.
The best method for doing this is to immediately take a screen shot of the offending text, preferably with a time stamp in the image to help expedite the investigation. Send this image to Customer Support with a description of the situation in which the offense occurred. Customer Support can be contacted through the help menu when logged into the game on your device or by going to support.rockyou.com. Please keep in mind that the severity of the offense will determine the outcome and Customer Support is not able to release any information regarding the outcome of these matters.
Reports that are found to be false after the incident is investigated will be counted against the reporting player. Upon the 5th false report the player will receive a warning that they have received their first strike. Each following false report of a chat offense will be another strike. Should the third strike occur, the player will receive notification from Customer Support stating the nature and duration of correctional action to be taken against the reporting player's account.
