Gaea Spring Outpost and Amber Crest Dragon Explained

What are the benefits of creating a Gaea Spring Outpost?

The Gaea Spring Outpost allows players to both further expand their Empire and train the newly implemented Amber Crest Dragon.

The Amber Crest Dragon has a special ability that allows it to create large quantities of resources after defeating a wilderness. When the Amber Crest Dragon is used on a march against a wilderness, it magically creates 10 million units of the corresponding resource.

Forest: Wood
Mountain: Ore
Savanna: Food
Lake : Food
Hill: Stone
Plain: Random resource

Important: The Amber Crest Dragon has no load capacity and only creates 10 million units of the corresponding resource. Be sure to send enough troops on a march with the Amber Crest Dragon in order to carry back 10 million resources to your City.

Along with the new breed of Dragon, the Gaea Spring Outpost allows players to generate additional resources and train troops for more strategic combat planning. Any Farm, Quarry, Mine or Lumbermill built in this Outpost will have its hourly rate multiplied by 2. Please be aware that in the description of each resource building, this bonus increase is not noted, but if you increase the level of a resource building you will be able to see the correct increase in any of your Gaea Spring Silos. We apologize for any inconvenience this display issue may have caused, but rest assured your resource levels will increase the appropriate amount. However, you will not be able to encamp or claim additional Wildernesses with the construction of the Gaea Spring Outpost.

Starting an Outpost

To start an Outpost, first make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • Own a Crested Egg
  • Control a Forest
  • A player at Level 5 or higher
  • Have a Sunken Temple Outpost

After you meet all of the requirements, click the Empire tab in the bottom tray and click on the newly unlocked Outpost.

This will launch the Expand Your Empire dialog, which verifies that you have met all of the requirements needed to build the Gaea Spring Outpost.

Outpost Damage

Similar to the Water, Ice, and Fire Dragon Outpost, if your Gaea Spring Outpost is attacked it will take damage that must be repaired before resources can be produced again. Your Outpost will automatically begin to heal itself after an attack, but it will take longer to heal the more advanced your Outpost is, so feel free to use Speed Ups to shorten your Outpost's healing time.
