City Skins

What are City Skins and what do they do?

City Skins are the newest item in Glory of Rome, and are now available in the Shop! There are a variety of City Skins available, and each will do two things to your City:

1) Apply a visual change to your City in the Map View

2) Give a buff to that City, depending on the Skin used

City Skins will be available in two different durations at their launch: either 1 Day (24 hours) or 7 Days*. The prices of these Skins will vary depending on their duration.

There are four City Skins available for purchase:

  • The Elevated City will increase travel time for armies traveling to that city. The 1 Day version will increase travel time by 10%, and the 7 Day version will increase travel time by 15%!

  • The Sustained City will reduce upkeep by a certain percentage. The 1 Day version will reduce upkeep by 10%, and the 7 Day version will reduce upkeep by 15%!

  • Bog City

  • Holiday City

NOTE: The Bog City & Holiday City skins do not have buffs, but rather, simply change the visual look of that City.
