Experience Points (XP) and Levels

What are experience points (XP) , and what does it mean when I gain a level?

XP, or Experience Points, are a measure of how powerful you are in Edgeworld.

Earn XP by constructing buildings, upgrading buildings, attacking other bases, or completing missions. Any XP you earn will fill up your experience bar, at the top-left of the game window.

When your experience bar fills up completely, you'll gain a level! Increasing your level will instantly fill up all your resource collectors and recharge your warp gates, as well as give you a permanent increase to the attack and health values of all your units.

When choosing a target to attack, you can see the level of your opponent. Higher-level enemies have stronger turrets, but they also have bigger bases and more resources for the taking. Choose your targets wisely!
